In researching my family history, I realized that I have come up with a lot of information from Pettorano sul Gizio, Italy. My grandfather, John Ciccolella, was born in Pettorano. I even got to visit the town in the summer of 2009. Anyway, I decided that I need to post the additional information for others to use in their research. So, a new blog was born!! I love these two photographs (in this post and the previous one) of Pettorano. It looks like a very beautiful place!
I'm enjoying your blog, especially photos like this. I haven't any Italian heritage, but my husband is a first generation American from Spain, and the research, photos and documents you have posted all remind me of his side of our family tree!
